Emily and I would like to thank you all for signing up for "The Herd"!
We were both really pleased with our first get-together. We moved by your shares and vulnerability and we could feel the energetic shift in the room from beginning to end.
We had some nice feedback from some women who didn't share themselves but said they want to next time because they witnessed the healing effects and transformative power of being heard.
I've always loved that saying about elephants in the room because we all have this incredible ability to bypass and avoid dealing with what's in our way and it keeps us feeling stuck. I'm a pro at this, just stuffing down my stress or uncomfortable feelings with distractions, food, and my phone.
My friend Tommy who runs a popular online recovery platform likes to say that "there is a way through every block" and it seems the first step to healing anything is to simply begin by shining a light on it.

Naming it in a non-judgemental safe place can help us gain a bit of a healthy distance where we'll be able to see things from a new perspective. From there we can create a compelling vision of what we'd like to feel or experience going forward.
We have two more dates coming up...

If you could please RSVP that would be super helpful! Emily and I like to arrive a bit early so we can get the room set up so we'll be ready to get underway right at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. We understand that life happens so if you're running late, don't bail you are most welcome- just slip in when you can and find a seat.
If you are in the mood, stick around and visit for 20-30 minutes afterward!!
Having this circle of women in our community is such a gift.
Last but not least, we invite you to respond to this email or reach out to either of us directly if you have any suggestions or sentiments to help us co-create the best possible experience for everyone.
Warm peanuts & regards,
Nona & Emily
The Herd
